Job summary

Power Staffing Solutions is seeking a SAP Functional Consultant to join the transformation team in Markham, ON, onsite five days a week. Salary ranges from CAD 80,000 to CAD 95,000, plus profit sharing, RRSP and benefits.

You will drive a major SAP S/4HANA finance transformation, combining business, technology and analytics to modernize systems and reporting. The role requires hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience, strong finance process knowledge, and the ability to deliver enterprise-wide impact

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, CS, IS, Analytics or a related field.
• 3+ years SAP experience including S/4HANA implementation/repro
• Experience with ERP implementations or migrations
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing, Financial Reporting
• Hands-on with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot or similar BI tools
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating UAT, supporting change management
• Strong analytical thinking, process mapping, and process improvement
• Preferred: SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud or embedded SAP analytics
• Familiar with AI-enabled reporting and Microsoft Power Platform is a plus
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments
• Exposure to data governance and master data management advantages

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Finance-focused SAP S/4HANA implementation, stabilization, and improvements
• Define reporting needs, chart of accounts structures, master data frameworks, finance process standards
• Coordinate UAT, user training, change management, and post-launch enhancements
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to streamline finance workflows
• Build dashboards, KPI reporting, and scalable analytics using Power BI, Fabric, Copilot
• Design automated reporting for inventory, AR/AP, cost management, and operations
• Safeguard data accuracy, governance, and consistency across SAP and enterprise systems
• Assess current finance processes, reinforce internal controls, and recommend tech-enabled improvements
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations and other stakeholders to deliver decisions

Requirements

Must have:

• We require a bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
• We are looking for at least 3 years of SAP experience, including hands‑on work with SAP S/4HANA implementation, enhancement, or transformation initiatives.
• Experience contributing to one or more ERP implementation or migration projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Costing, and Financial Reporting, is essential.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, or similar business intelligence and analytics tools is required.
• Experience gathering business requirements, facilitating User Acceptance Testing, and supporting change management is required.
• Strong analytical thinking, process mapping, and business process improvement capabilities are required.
• Preferred experience includes SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, or embedded SAP analytics.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled reporting and the Microsoft Power Platform is an asset.
