Job summary

Refresco is seeking a detailed SAP Functional Analyst FICO in Tampa, Florida to enhance the existing SAP system and lead medium to large enhancement projects. You will be responsible for solution design, configuration, testing, and ensuring effective communication with business partners.

With a strong focus on user engagement, the role requires expertise in various aspects of financial controlling and the ability to analyze complex business needs. Strong communication skills and a minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP are required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years configuration experience in CO, FI, and FSCM.
  • Knowledge in Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Product Costing.
  • Experience with FICO integration across operations and manufacturing modules.

Job description

Description

The SAP Functional Analyst FICO should have extensive expertise in Controlling, including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis. The analyst will engage directly with the Controller Group, Commercial Finance, Forecasting & Planning, Supply Chain Finance, AP, AR, Shared Services, and other business teams to deliver high quality solutions which optimize and enhance the existing SAP system. This role is chiefly responsible for existing solution optimization broadly defined within the categories of production support, business process optimization, and user‑enablement. This role has a high‑degree of user engagement to develop tools which proactively reduce production support issues while also enhancing the ease with which users adopt system processes.

The role will serve as lead on medium to big enhancement projects, orchestrating solution design, managing deadlines, managing business communication and providing status updates. This role requires researching and resolving production support issues, developing functional specifications from business requirements, coordinating development (ABAP&BW), providing technical support, contributing to overall software architecture and process solutions for SAP FI, CO, FSCM & OpenText as an optional advantage. The individual will be responsible for solution design, system configuration, testing, documentation and post‑implementation support.

Duties
  • Responsible for solving complex problems; design, configure, test and implement solutions for SAP FI, CO and FSCM. Knowledge of OpenText is an advantage.
  • Analyze business needs, document requirements and translate needs into functional, non‑functional and/or technical specifications. Perform analysis and evaluate downstream business, systems, process, and/or organizational impacts.
  • Analyze the process to be implemented, define system requirements in terms of system capabilities and configure SAP.
  • Maintain a high level of functional competency regarding standard SAP FI and CO configuration and keep current on SAP trends and future enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the development team in order to achieve desired end‑results on complex problems by delivering scalable business process solutions.
  • Plan and assist with oversight of testing processes and activities including defect identification and resolution.
  • Develop or assist in developing work plans, time schedules, project task items, and assist with estimating resource needs for analysts, developers, business user personnel, and consultants.
  • Advises business partners on the implications of standard or new SAP solutions that can be applied to a problem.
  • Have experience and knowledge in key integration points of FICO with other operations and manufacturing modules.
  • Identify risks and issues, and seek approval on complex matters.
  • Document quality training material for business users.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners.
  • Exhibit patience and devote time to understand current state processes and configuration.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise and production support to internal business partners on an ongoing basis.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

  • Have a working knowledge of project management.
  • Experience with a SOX compliant organization is an advantage.
  • Have strong Excel skills, highly desired.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong critical self‑review skills.
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism.
  • Have a strong fundamental understanding of project and change management principles in application.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years configuration experience in CO, FI and FSCM. Experience with OpenText is an advantage.
  • Experience in Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis, with knowledge in Margin Analysis being a valuable plus.
  • Experience with FICO integration between all operations and manufacturing modules.
  • Experience with SAP partner applications such as Blackline, HighRadius, Esker, etc. is an advantage.
  • 2+ full life‑cycle implementations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting or related field preferred.
  • SAP Certification in FICO for Suite on HANA and/or S4 highly desired.
Working Requirements
  • Homebased with approximately 20% travel.
  • Work schedule flexibility to accommodate project deliverables.
Pay Range

Pay Range: $123,140k - $145,455k, plus eligibility for performance‑based bonuses based on company objectives.
