Job summary

Cheney Brothers seeks an SAP Functional Analyst to bridge business needs and IT for SAP solutions that boost efficiency and performance. You will analyze processes, gather requirements, configure SAP, and support testing and production support across modules.

Responsibilities include documenting specifications, enhancing processes, and coordinating with cross-functional teams on testing, interfaces, and production issues while driving continuous improvement in SAP operations.

Qualifications

Experience building, implementing, and maintaining cost accounting structures within ERP systems.
Experience leading ERP cost calculation setup, configuration, and cost accounting processes.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, standard costing methodologies, and variance analysis.
Proven ability to prepare monthly profit and loss statements and analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and standard costs.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, document requirements, and translate them into SAP functional specs.
Evaluate processes to identify improvements and determine SAP solutions within modules.
Identify gaps between needs and SAP functionality and configure modules accordingly.
Develop configuration docs, process flows, and user training materials.
Collaborate with developers, interfaces, reports, and integrations teams on enhancements.
Design and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; coordinate defect resolution.
Troubleshoot SAP production issues and provide timely incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
Analyze interfaces between SAP and external apps to ensure data integrity and performance.
