Job summary

Northern Base seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Techno-Functional Consultant with 7-14 years of SAP ECC, ABAP development, and SAP FI/CO expertise, including AP, GL, and FA. Strong knowledge of PI/PO, ABAP enhancements, FRICEW objects, and UI5/Fiori development is essential.

You will analyze business requirements, design scalable SAP solutions, and collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure best practices and performance.

Qualifications

• 7-14 years in SAP ABAP development and techno-functional consulting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and provide techno-functional solutions for SAP Finance modules (AP, GL, FA).
• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP/4 in the SAP ECC environment.
• Support SAP FI/CO functionality and configurations for GL, AP, and Asset Accounting.
• Design and implement technical enhancements using User Exits, BAdIs, BTEs, Enhancement Points, and the Switch Framework.
• Develop and support FRICEW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Work on SAP PI/PO integrations for data exchange with external systems.
• Support SAP UI5 development, OData services, and Fiori applications.
• Recommend SAP best practices and design scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Collaborate with functional teams and enterprise architects to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
• Ensure performance, quality, and compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL/New GL), and Fixed Assets (FA/Asset Accounting), along with expertise in SAP PI/PO, ABAP enhancements, and FRICEW objects. Knowledge of SAP UI5, OData services, and Fiori application development is desirable. The role requires the ability to understand business requirements, functional configurations, and deliver scalable, innovative SAP solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and SAP best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Experience: 7-14years in SAP ABAP development and techno-functional consulting.
