Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Principal SAP Finance Engineer with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA 2025 Finance, VIM, and Group Reporting to lead design, implementation, and ongoing support of finance solutions.

You will partner with business, IT, and vendor teams to turn complex requirements into scalable, well-documented systems while mentoring junior staff and ensuring successful deployments. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on SAP Finance experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (ACDOCA, FI-GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting)
• Hands-on configuration of SAP VIM incl. inbound processing and workflow
• Experience designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Group Reporting
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with external apps via interfaces/APIs/SAP CPI
• Experience leading SIT/UAT for SAP Finance releases

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and design sessions to translate business needs into functional specs and scalable solutions.
• Design, configure, enhance, and support SAP S/4HANA 2025 Finance, SAP VIM, and SAP Group Reporting.
• Own lifecycle of solutions covering GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, VIM, and financial consolidation.
• Maintain integrations and data flows between SAP S/4HANA 2025 and connected apps.
• Lead SIT and UAT, coordinate releases, and drive deployment and user adoption.
• Create and maintain functional specs, BRDs, process flows, and user documentation.
• Mentor team members and set design standards across SAP S/4HANA Finance.
