Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Architect to lead the FICO implementation for our organization. You will configure, customize, and deploy the FICO module to support our financial accounting and management accounting processes.

The ideal candidate will have deep SAP Finance expertise with end-to-end manufacturing and finance process knowledge, including cost planning and actual costing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of implementing or consulting SAP FICO with strong accounting focus.
• Experience designing and deploying SAP FICO solutions with end-to-end process understanding.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and cross-module integration.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP Finance Architect to lead the implementation of the Finance and Control (FICO) module for our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and deploying the FICO module to support our financial accounting and management accounting processes.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Finance, with a strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and finance processes, including cost planning and actual costing. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to design, configure, and support SAP solutions that drive financial transparency and operational efficiency.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead business process analysis and requirements gathering workshops with finance stakeholders to understand complex business needs.
• Design and architect robust, scalable, and compliant SAP FICO solutions, developing comprehensive blueprints and roadmaps from design to delivery.
• Configure and customize SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing (PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP FICO and other core modules such as MM, SD, PS, and PP.
• Oversee RICEFW developments, collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure solutions meet functional specifications.
• Develop and manage data migration strategies, assisting with the extraction, transformation, and loading of financial data from legacy systems.
• Lead and support all project testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate system functionality and data integrity.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Plan and deliver end-user training sessions and provide post-go-live support to ensure smooth system adoption and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure the designed solutions comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations, such as US GAAP and IFRS.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 3+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing and configuring the SAP FICO module, with a strong emphasis on financial accounting and management accounting processes.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management accounting concepts.
• Functional knowledge of SAP FICO and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, CO).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
• Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), industry regulations, and internal control frameworks.
• Knowledge of advanced financial reporting and consolidation processes.
• Familiarity with tax and compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions (for multinational organizations).
• Certification in SAP FICO (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting) is preferred.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
