Primary Focus:** SAP Financial Accounting (FI) with supporting Controlling (CO) knowledge

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced **SAP FICO Consultant with a strong focus on SAP Financial Accounting (FI)** for a long-term engagement in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration, implementation, enhancement, and support, along with a good understanding of SAP CO functionalities.

The candidate should possess strong functional and configuration skills, the ability to analyze business requirements, and experience collaborating with offshore teams, particularly teams based in China. The role requires effective coordination with business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore delivery teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful delivery of SAP financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support SAP FI modules based on business requirements.
• Work extensively on SAP Financial Accounting functionalities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Configure financial master data, document types, posting keys, payment terms, tax settings, and account determination.
• Support financial period-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FI functional specifications and configuration solutions.
• Troubleshoot SAP FI issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement appropriate resolutions.
• Work with integration points between SAP FI and other modules, including MM, SD, and CO.
• Support functional testing, integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
• Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, test scenarios, and user guides.
• Collaborate with business users, functional and technical teams, and project stakeholders to deliver project milestones.
• Coordinate with China-based offshore teams for requirement clarification, issue resolution, configuration activities, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in knowledge-transfer sessions, status meetings, and cross-team discussions across time zones.
• Support production incidents, change requests, enhancements, and continuous process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with a primary focus on **SAP FI configuration and functional processes**.
• Good knowledge of SAP FI configuration, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production support projects.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and end-to-end business processes.
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of SAP FI integration with MM, SD, and CO modules.
• Previous experience working with or coordinating with **China-based offshore teams**.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver solutions in a project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Fiori applications.
• Knowledge of financial closing, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
• Experience with SAP migration, data validation, and deployment activities.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools, change management, and incident management processes.
• SAP FI/CO certification is an added advantage.
