Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in Waukegan, IL is seeking a SAP FI/OTC Integration Business Analyst to join our hybrid team (onsite 3 days/wk, 2 days WFH).

You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to design solutions within SAP Finance modules, focusing on Gross-to-Net and Order-to-Cash integration and accurate posting to GL accounts. Responsibilities include optimizing pricing impact on accounting, revenue recognition, credit card reconciliation processes, and driving process improvements and automation

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting with 5 years of SAP business analyst experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand Gross-to-Net calculation requirements & design solutions within SAP Finance modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand impact of Pricing on Accounting.
• Enable configuration to ensure pricing conditions are posted to correct GL Accounts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements & design solutions around unique scenarios like Free of charge orders, Free items, tax handling, retroactive sales orders.
• Develop & implement credit card reconciliation processes to reconcile transactions & resolve discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements & automation to enhance credit card order efficiency & financial reporting accuracy.
• Partner closely with Finance & IT stakeholders to gather requirements, configure solutions, & support the design, testing, & deployment of SAP Finance (FI/CO) functionality.

SAP FI‑OTC Integration Business Analyst, AbbVie Inc., Waukegan, IL: Hybrid (onsite 3 days a week/2 days WFH/remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand Gross-to-Net calculation requirements & design solutions within SAP Finance modules.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Must possess a BS/BA in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting & 5 years of experience as an SAP business analyst.

Of work experience required, must have 5 years:

1. performing business analysis focused on Order to Cash‑Finance integration, payment reconciliations, Bank Statement management / Cash Application & integration with Banking systems;
2. applying revenue recognition principles, discounts, rebates, & allowances in financial reporting;
3. integrating complex applications & data relationships;
4. working with upstream & downstream applications & reduce data dependencies;
5. preparing & presenting written & oral reports for peers & business stakeholders;
6. collaborating with a matrixed team of Business & BTS resources to ensure the efficient operation of the assigned function; &
7. advocating for the customer within the broader IT organization.

Salary Range: $168,137.20 - $208,500.00 per year.
