Job summary

CRH Americas Materials Inc seeks an experienced SAP FI/CO Architect to support the Record to Report (R2R) process landscape, focusing on Finance, CO and FP&A integration. The role involves hands‑on design, configuration, and testing across FI processes such as accounts payable, month‑end close, asset accounting, banking and cash application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years SAP experience with hands‑on architect level.
• Strong FI experience: accounts payable, month‑end close, asset accounting, banking.
• Knowledge of CO: Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, Material Ledger, CO‑PA.
• Experience integrating FI with MM, SD, Treasury and external banking/tax engines.
• Experience with FP&A, corporate reporting, budgeting/forecasting.
• Experience with lease accounting (Costar).
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as hands‑on FI/CO R2R resource partnering with Finance, Controlling, FP&A.
• Translate requirements into functional specs and configure scalable FI processes.
• Support KPI tracking and governance forums with business owners.
• Participate in design workshops and requirements gathering across Finance, Controlling, FP&A.
• Assist FP&A and Corporate Accounting with budgeting and reporting processes.
• Ensure SOX and audit readiness in financial close and reporting.
• Support SAP R2R enhancements, upgrades, and rollouts.
