Job summary

TechDigital Group in Riverwoods, IL seeks a highly experienced SAP FI/CO – RTR Lead with 15+ years of expertise to guide end-to-end Record-to-Report processes across global programs and multi-region deployments.

You will lead design, delivery, and governance, manage cross-functional teams, ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance, and drive cutover, data migration, testing, and hypercare across SAP S/4HANA Finance environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO and RTR.
• Minimum 3–4 full-cycle SAP implementations as FI/CO Lead.
• Strong knowledge of global finance processes, IFRS/GAAP, tax, compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Expertise with S/4HANA Finance.
• Proven experience leading large delivery teams in onsite/offshore model.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with multi-country rollouts and complex global landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of SAP FI/CO and RTR solutions across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Product Costing, PCA, and COPA.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across IT, business, and global delivery teams.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to CFO organization, Finance Controllers, and Business Process Owners.
• Lead go-live activities and provide stabilization support.
• Design and execute cutover strategies, data migration validation, and readiness plans.
• Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
• Perform hands-on SAP configuration.
• Define KPIs and ensure process adherence through automation and SAP best practices.
• Design and optimize closing cycles, reconciliations, reporting frameworks, and financial controls.
• Ensure high-quality delivery outcomes aligned with project scope, timeline, and budget
• Drive governance, issue management, risk mitigation, and progress reporting to leadership
• Lead RTR process standardization across global entities and business units
• Manage and guide cross-functional teams including FI, CO, Integration, ABAP, and Data teams
• Take ownership of delivery across all phases: design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare
• Ensure alignment with global financial processes, statutory requirements, and compliance standards
• Create detailed functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scenarios, and process flow diagrams
• Drive blueprint workshops, fit-gap analysis, and end-to-end solution mapping
