Job summary

Take2 Consulting, LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Specialist to deliver L2/L3 functional application support for SAP EWM and warehouse processes, including incidents, changes, and requests.

You will investigate inbound/outbound/inventory movements, configure and maintain SAP EWM processes, support 3PL integrations, and collaborate with operations, IT, and external providers. 7+ years of SAP logistics experience is preferred.

Job description

• Deliver L2/L3 functional application support for SAP EWM and warehouse processes integrated with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, including incidents, problems, service requests, and change requests.
• Investigate warehouse execution issues across inbound, outbound, inventory, and internal warehouse movements, performing detailed troubleshooting, impact analysis, and root-cause analysis.
• Configure, maintain, and support core SAP EWM business processes, including:
• Inbound: ASN processing, deconsolidation, goods receipt, putaway, and value-added services.
• Outbound: Wave planning, picking, packing, staging, loading, and post goods issue.
• Internal Operations: Replenishment, bin-to-bin movements, physical inventory, cycle counting, and scrapping.
• Warehouse Setup: Storage types, storage sections, storage bins, activity areas, work centers, and packing specifications.
• Support warehouse execution and optimization capabilities, including warehouse order and wave management, queues, labor-related concepts, exception processing, and operational monitoring.
• Manage and support 3PL integrations, including interface monitoring, error resolution, mapping validation, reconciliation, and alignment of warehouse processes with external provider SLAs.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations, business stakeholders, IT teams, and 3PL partners to gather requirements, identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and develop user stories and functional specifications.
• Participate in unit testing, regression testing, UAT, release validation, and production cutover activities.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, including SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, interface monitoring procedures, troubleshooting guides, and AMS support playbooks.

Required Functional Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM, including Embedded and/or Decentralized EWM implementations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse structure and master data, including products, handling units, storage bins, packaging specifications, and related warehouse configuration.
• Experience with Warehouse Tasks, Warehouse Orders, RF processes, EWM monitoring, and warehouse execution controls.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end inbound, outbound, inventory, and exception-handling processes.
• Solid integration knowledge across S/4HANA MM/IM, SD/LE, TM, and FI, including the business and financial impacts of warehouse goods movements.
• Practical understanding of 3PL operating models and integration approaches, including IDoc, API, EDI, middleware-based integrations, reconciliation processes, and operational control points.
• Proven AMS experience involving ticket management, incident resolution, RCA, documentation, SLA adherence, and stakeholder communication.

Technical & Delivery Skills

• Work closely with ABAP, SAP CPI, PI/PO, BTP Integration Suite, and middleware teams to troubleshoot integration failures and define appropriate technical fixes.
• Utilize EWM Monitor, IDoc monitoring, queues, middleware dashboards, and related monitoring tools to identify and resolve production issues.
• Translate technical findings into clear defect descriptions, RCA documentation, and actionable resolution plans.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse operations, IT teams, business stakeholders, and external 3PL providers, including leading issue-resolution discussions through closure.
