Job summary

Aquent is seeking an SAP Developer to drive the modernization of our global SAP landscape. You will design, develop, test, and deploy robust SAP solutions across ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and S/4HANA migrations, collaborating with finance and broader IT teams.

You will own the full lifecycle of critical SAP initiatives, ensuring alignment with Clean Core principles and cloud-first strategies, while delivering clear technical documentation and scalable integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5–7 years SAP experience.
• Proficient in SAP ABAP with RESTful, CDS, and extensibility.
• Strong SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData experience.
• Core SAP modules: SD, MM, FI/CO.
• Experience with SAP BTP, HANA and S/4HANA migrations.
• Familiar with SAP integration: IDocs, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, REST.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust SAP solutions, including enhancements, customizations, and integrations utilizing SAP BTP, ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and other advanced SAP technologies (such as CAP, HANA Cloud).
• Engage comprehensively in the full lifecycle of critical SAP projects, from initial requirement gathering and detailed analysis through to successful go‑live and ongoing post‑implementation support.
• Collaborate closely with diverse functional teams, project managers, and key stakeholders to deeply understand complex business needs and expertly translate them into highly effective and robust technical solutions.
• Champion Clean Core guiding principles, actively adapting cloud‑based applications using SAP Cloud Platform tools and technologies, and fostering a forward‑thinking cloud mindset.
• Develop and meticulously maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including detailed design specifications, thorough test plans, and clear user manuals.
• Work dynamically within a collaborative team environment of approximately 25–30 members, engaging with various crucial work streams, including finance and other specialized development teams.

What You’ll Bring

We are seeking an individual with a strong foundation in SAP and a genuine passion for driving technological advancement. Your expertise will be crucial in configuring and customizing SAP solutions that optimize accounting, purchasing, and sales processes.

Must-Have Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 5–7 years of dedicated SAP experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of SAP ecosystems.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including RESTful programming, CDS, and modern extensibility techniques.
• Strong experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services for building intuitive user experiences.
• Demonstrated knowledge of core SAP modules such as SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, or other relevant areas.
• Practical knowledge of BTP tools/services like SAP Build Work Zone, Business Application Studio, and GIT for collaborative development.
• Proven experience developing cloud‑based applications on the SAP BTP platform.
• Extensive experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments, including S/4HANA upgrades and ECC to S/4HANA migrations with essential code remediation.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, RISE, and a variety of SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, REST).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.
