Job summary

Aptimized, LLC is seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant to join a long-term SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation. You will design, develop, and support enterprise data solutions, focusing on integrating S/4HANA Cloud data and enabling analytics and reporting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP Datasphere and S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition experience, data modeling, integration, and governance. Strong collaboration with business and technical stakeholders is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP Datasphere solutions supporting an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment.
• Develop data models, analytical models, views, and data flows within SAP Datasphere.
• Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA Cloud and other SAP/non-SAP source systems into Datasphere.
• Configure and utilize Datasphere connectivity options, including APIs, remote tables, replication, and other integration mechanisms.
• Develop scalable and reusable data models for enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Work with business and functional teams to understand reporting and data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and harmonization activities.
• Design and maintain data layers supporting SAP Analytics Cloud and other reporting/analytics platforms.
• Troubleshoot data integration, modeling, performance, and connectivity issues.
• Establish appropriate data governance, security, and access controls within Datasphere.
• Participate in solution design, technical documentation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, and other business areas.
• Ensure Datasphere solutions align with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition architecture and best practices.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant to join a long-term SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data solutions using SAP Datasphere, with a focus on integrating SAP S/4HANA Cloud data and enabling reporting, analytics, and data-driven business processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, along with a solid understanding of SAP data architecture, data modeling, integration, and analytics.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
• Strong understanding of SAP data architecture and data modeling.
• Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA data with SAP Datasphere.
• Experience developing Datasphere models, views, data flows, and analytical models.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA CDS Views and/or other SAP data extraction mechanisms.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT, and data transformation concepts.
• Ability to work with both functional and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Datasphere certification.
• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud and/or SAP BW/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite / SAP BTP.
• Experience integrating non-SAP data sources with Datasphere.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud APIs and communication arrangements.
• Experience with enterprise reporting and analytics implementations.
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation programs.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on SAP Datasphere Consultant who has worked directly on S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition projects and understands how to build and integrate enterprise data models rather than focusing solely on reporting. Experience working in a consulting/SI environment and communicating directly with business and technical stakeholders is highly valued.
