Job summary

Infosys Manufacturing unit seeks a Package Consultant 3 to analyze processes, define architecture, and implement ERP customizations across SAP landscape. You will lead integration efforts, data migrations, and optimization initiatives, coordinating with development teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Ideal candidates will have SAP data platform expertise, strong SQL/ETL skills, and English fluency. Willingness to relocate/travel to Infosys offices in the USA or Dearborn, MI is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; three years of progressive experience may count in lieu of every year of education.
• Experience migrating and modernizing SAP BW/BW4HANA to SAP Datasphere and BDC.
• Strong SQL/SQLScript, data governance and security knowledge.
• Experience integrating SAP with non‑SAP data sources.
• Fluency in English; excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications that align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Define and develop solution architecture, steering customization and integration efforts based on thorough business analysis.
• Design and implement advanced ERP customizations basis ERP platform's capabilities and collaboration with the development team.
• Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect ERP with external applications, leading large-scale data migration strategies to ensure data integrity.
• Implement advanced performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience, while leading compliance initiatives through audits.
• Develop detailed documentation for complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops tailored to various user groups.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect the ERP system with external applications, while leading large-scale data migration strategies to ensure data integrity
• Implement advanced performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience, while leading compliance initiatives throughs audits, to uphold security protocols and industry standards
• Develop detailed documentation for complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops tailored to various user groups, to ensure effective knowledge transfer

Your contribution to the team:

• Expertise in ERP systems, architecture, and advanced customization techniques

Required Skill and Experience

Support migration and modernization initiatives from SAP BW/BW4HANA to SAP Datasphere and BDC.

Troubleshoot complex data integration and analytics issues.

Hands‑on experience with:

• SAP Datasphere
• SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW on HANA
• SAP HANA Native Modeling

Strong expertise in:

• Data Modeling
• SQL & SQLScript
• Data Integration and ETL Concepts
• Data Federation & Data Replication
• Data Governance & Security

Experience integrating SAP and non‑SAP data sources.

Understanding of business semantic modeling and enterprise data architecture.

Experience with SAP BTP platform services.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• SAP product certifications are a plus.
• Fluency in English.
• Work location is Infosys office Hub locations at USA or Dearborn, Michigan.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business.

• High Impact communication with senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of Agile and SAP Activate methodology
