Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Package Consultant 3 to lead SAP architecture and integration efforts within the SURE unit. You will design complex ABAP-based customizations, develop integration workflows, and guide large-scale data migrations while aligning technical solutions with enterprise goals.

This role focuses on secure, scalable ERP transformations for utilities and energy sectors. The ideal candidate has deep SAP/ABAP expertise, hands-on experience with S/4HANA programs, CPI/PI-PO, and Mulesoft,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; three years of experience can substitute each year of education.
• Knowledge of SAP ABAP architecture and development.
• Experience leading architecture or technical architecture roles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications.
• Define and develop solution architecture; steer customization and integration efforts.
• Design and implement advanced customizations based on ERP platform capabilities with development teams.
• Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect ERP with external apps; lead data migrations.
• Implement performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and user experience improvements; lead audits for security standards.
• Create detailed documentation for ERP customizations and lead user-training workshops.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications that align with enterprise architecture standards
• Define and develop solution architecture, steering customization and integration efforts based on thorough business analysis
• Design and implement advanced customizations basis ERP platform's capabilities and limitations and develop critical software applications in collaboration with the development team
• Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect the ERP system with external applications, while leading large-scale data migration strategies to ensure data integrity
• Implement advanced performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience, while leading compliance initiatives throughs audits, to uphold security protocols and industry standards
• Develop detailed documentation for complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops tailored to various user groups, to ensure effective knowledge transfer

Required Skill And Experience

Core SAP & Architecture Skills

• SAP experience with strong focus on ABAP architecture & development
• S/4HANA programs (implementation or transformation)
• Proven experience as Lead Architect / Technical Architect

Modern ABAP Technologies

• Deep hands-on expertise in:
• RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• CDS Views (Advanced modeling, annotations)
• AMDP / HANA SQL optimization
• OData service design & API architecture
• Strong command of:
• Object-Oriented ABAP
• ABAP on HANA best practices

Integration Expertise

• Deep experience with:
• SAP CPI / PI-PO
• Mulesoft
• API-led integrations
• Event-driven architecture (preferred)

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience in large Utilities transformation programs (North America preferred)
• Exposure to:
• SAP BTP (Extension Suite, CAP, Integration Suite)
• Embedded Analytics & reporting (CDS-based)
• Experience driving Clean Core and upgrade-safe extensibility
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in utilities sector

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
