Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on SAP Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team. You will connect enterprise SAP data with modern cloud data architecture, build scalable data pipelines, and develop reusable Data Products for analytical reporting and operations.

You will work with SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Data Cloud, and Apache Spark to process datasets in a cloud ecosystem, while adhering to data governance and security practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering, data warehousing, or data integration.
• Hands-on SAP Datasphere and/or SAP Business Data Cloud experience.
• Proficient in Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala) for distributed processing.
• Strong SQL and Python or Java development skills.
• Understanding of dimensional modeling and modern data architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• English level B1+ for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Integrate and transform data from SAP and non-SAP sources.
• Create reusable Data Products for analytical reporting, ML, and operations.
• Support data governance, data quality, and metadata management.

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on SAP Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team.In this role, you will contribute to connecting enterprise SAP data with modern cloud data architecture.
