Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a SAP Cost Allocation and Financial System Analyst to maintain cost allocation methodologies and master data within SAP S/4HANA. You will serve as the primary owner for SKF, WBS hierarchies, and project accounting structures in a hybrid Newark/Dover, DE environment.

You will collaborate with Finance, Regulatory Affairs, FP&A, IT, and operations to ensure accurate allocation structures, compliant reporting, and support for regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, computer science, or related field.
• Five years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Three years supporting SAP Controlling (CO) processes in SAP S/4HANA.
• CPA or CMA preferred; professional certification a plus.
• Experience with regulated accounting and regulatory reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer SAP S/4HANA cost allocation methodologies, cycles, and governance.
• Analyze allocation drivers, SKF data, and percentages for accuracy and compliance.
• Implement allocation changes from restructures, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Manage SKF data, WBS hierarchies, and project structures in SAP PS.
• Oversee project accounting structures, settlement rules, cost centers and profit centers.
• Perform annual labor rate calculations to support cost allocations and budgeting.
• Coordinate allocation impacts from organizational changes and master data updates.
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Regulatory Affairs, HR, IT and operations.
