Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Controlling (CO) Manager to lead the SAP S/4HANA Controlling domain, focusing on management accounting, product costing, profitability analysis, and reporting.

This hands-on role will translate requirements from Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, and Technology into standardized SAP solutions. The initial focus is on product costing with broader finance product ownership after go-live, shaping a large-scale transformation and strengthening costing and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of IT with increasing scope and responsibility, including at least 5 years configuring and implementing SAP Controlling solutions.
Experience completing at least one full SAP implementation, with SAP S/4HANA implementations, conversions, or brownfield transformations preferred.
Hands-on SAP S/4HANA configuration in Margin Analysis and CO-PA, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, FI-CO integration.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, standard costing, moving-average costing, inventory valuation, cost-component structures, overhead allocation, management reporting, and profitability analysis.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Controlling functional lead for the SAP S/4HANA implementation, integrating finance with manufacturing, supply chain, and other modules.
Lead fit-to-standard workshops to capture requirements and guide toward SAP standard practices.
Perform hands-on SAP configuration for Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Material Ledger, and Profit Center Accounting.
Design and implement manufacturing and product-costing methodologies including standard costing and moving-average costing.
Define costing granularity by vehicle, model, product line, location, and define cost elements such as labor, overhead, and freight.
Define and support profitability analysis and Margin Analysis capabilities.
Establish integrated processes across SAP Finance, Materials Management, Production Planning, Project Systems, and Asset Accounting.
Own Controlling master-data requirements and develop integration-test scenarios and deployment support.
