Job summary

The Squires Group is seeking an SAP Design Functional Lead to support a large-scale federal travel and expense modernization initiative. You will own SAP Concur configuration, onboarding of external providers, access, integration testing, and UAT in a non-production environment.

Candidates local to Herndon, VA are preferred and will work onsite four days per week; fully remote options considered but West Coast candidates will not be considered. U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP Concur configuration and implementation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Concur Expense, travel and expense controls, reporting, and integrations.
• Experience translating requirements into configuration, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Knowledge of identity, access, provider onboarding, and non-production testing concepts.
• Working knowledge of Federal Travel Regulation concepts and federal travel operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• SAP Concur certification preferred.
• API, SFTP, or shared-services experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Rational ClearQuest, Rational ClearCase, and CMMI Level 3 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP Concur Expense, travel and expense controls, reporting, and integrations.
• Define and document onboarding, sponsorship, user-access, and testing workflows for external providers.
• Translate business and technical requirements into SAP Concur configurations, processes, and acceptance criteria.
• Support functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for API and file-based integrations.
• Develop and maintain operational and process documentation.
• Support identity, access management, provider onboarding, and non-production testing processes.
• Apply knowledge of Federal Travel Regulation concepts and federal travel operations to configuration and design.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integrations and workflows meet requirements.
