Job summary

The Squires Group is seeking experienced SAP Concur Consultants to support a large-scale federal travel modernization initiative. These roles will contribute to a next-generation, enterprise-wide travel and expense management platform designed to standardize operations across civilian agencies.

Consultants will implement and support a centralized, cloud-based travel and expense solution, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and delivering improved user experience across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with SAP Concur or similar travel and expense platforms.
• Experience supporting federal or large enterprise system implementations.
• Strong understanding of travel lifecycle processes (authorization, booking, vouchering, auditing).
• Familiarity with federal travel regulations, compliance standards, or shared service models.
• Experience configuring policies, workflows, and audit rules.
• Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support travel and expense systems (e.g., SAP Concur) in a federal environment
• Gather requirements and translate them into system configuration and solutions
• Support implementations, testing (UAT), and deployments
• Configure workflows, policies, audit rules, and user roles
• Drive process standardization and support platform consolidation efforts
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations, security, and audit requirements
• Collaborate on integrations with financial/ERP systems
• Provide troubleshooting, production support, and continuous improvement
• Create and maintain documentation and user guides
