Job summary

Ford Energy is seeking an SAP Security Specialist to design, implement, and oversee robust security for SAP environments across public cloud deployments. You will lead access controls, role design, and emergency access procedures within a hybrid work setup in Dearborn, MI.

The role requires 3–5 years in SAP Security, hands-on GRC/IAG experience, and strong familiarity with SAP IAS/IPS and IAM solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to maintain secure-by-design SAP

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of SAP Security experience, including hands-on GRC/IAG.
Experience securing SAP workloads in public cloud environments.
Practical knowledge of SAP Cloud Identity Services and IAM solutions.
Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts and SoD analysis.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain robust SAP security architectures and access controls.
Secure SAP landscapes hosted on public cloud platforms (S/4HANA, BTP, RISE with SAP).
Manage IAM, SSO, MFA, and federated identity flows between SAP systems and enterprise identity providers.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, security audits, and configuration reviews of SAP infra and HANA databases.
Translate cybersecurity requirements into SAP baselines ensuring SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance.
Define and audit SAP business roles, authorization objects, and firefighter procedures.
Support security incidents and provide remediation for SAP-related events.
Collaborate with SAP functional teams, GRC analysts, and cloud architects.
