Job summary
Co-op is reshaping its Digital, Technology and Data function and seeks a SAP Functional Lead to drive the SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) and enable reliable data across retail and omnichannel operations. The role is based in Manchester with hybrid working and visa sponsorship where applicable.
You will work with architects, engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to design and deliver SAP CAR solutions, ensuring strong integrations across retail, supply chain and data
Qualifications
- Significant experience in SAP CAR, ideally in retail, supply chain or related environments.
- Strong expertise in SAP CAR functionality, including sales integration, POSDTA, DRF and Demand Data Foundation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and ongoing development of SAP CAR functionality.
- Act as a subject matter expert for SAP CAR and provide guidance on processes, design and platform improvements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to design and deliver effective SAP CAR solutions.
- Support key SAP CAR capabilities: sales processing, inventory visibility, stock management and omnichannel operations.
- Ensure integration between SAP CAR and connected platforms (retail, supply chain, store, digital and data systems).
- Provide oversight and quality assurance for change delivery across the platform and services.
- Drive continuous improvement through process simplification, automation and optimisation.
