Job summary

Deutsche Telekom Services Europe Romania (DTSE Romania) is seeking an SAP BW specialist to manage 2nd/3rd level incidents, operate the SAP BW system and ensure successful data loads. You will test and validate new developments and collaborate in an agile team to improve data models and data flows.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in SAP BW with LSA++ design and ABAP, experience with ADSOs/Composite Providers, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SAP BW implementation experience focusing on LSA++ architecture, data extraction and modeling (BW/4HANA).
• ABAP knowledge including reading, understanding, and debugging.
• Experience in 2nd and 3rd level incident handling.
• Experience with Analysis for Office.
• Experience with BW info providers, ADSOs and composite providers.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze 2nd and 3rd level incident topics and perform bugfixing.
• Operate and monitor the productive SAP BW system and perform data loads.
• Test and accept new developments before go-live.
• Collaborate with a team of experts to develop and improve software for products and services.
• Perform minor backend and frontend developments (data model changes, data flow).
• Work in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis of 2nd and 3rd level incident topics, bugfixing
• Operating productive SAP BW system, e.g. performing and monitoring of data loads
• Test (including regression tests) and acceptance of new developments before go-live
• Participating in the development/improvement of software for products and services together with a team of experts
• Minor backend and frontend developments (e.g. changes in data model, data flow, necessary objects, etc)
• Work in agile environment

Competence Profile

Must have:

• 4+ years of experience in SAP BW implementation: LSA++ architecture design, data extraction and modeling (BW\\4HANA), ABAP knowledge (reading, understanding, debugging)
• Experience in 2nd and 3rd level incident handling
• Experience in Analysis for Office
• Experience with all BW info provider types, including ADSOs and composite providers
• Language: Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud/ Datasphere is advantageous
• Bex query modeling and BW Integrated Planning basics
• Language: basic German
