Job summary

Valleysoft is seeking an SAP BW Developer to strengthen reporting, analytics, and data workflows for global clients. You will design and optimize SAP BW data models and transformations, while supporting integrations with Azure through Velocity and SAP Datasphere.

The role requires mid-level SAP BW experience, ABAP/BW troubleshooting skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Arabic-English language communication. International time overlap with Dubai-based teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Mid-level experience in SAP BW development and production support.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BW modeling components (InfoProviders, DSOs, ADSOs, CompositeProviders).
• Strong ABAP/BW troubleshooting, performance analysis, and data-loading issue resolution.
• Experience configuring Theobald extraction tools and SQL proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models (InfoProviders, DSOs, ADSOs, CompositeProviders).
• Develop and maintain BW transformations, DTPs, and process chains.
• Configure and monitor data extraction from SAP ERP and SAP BW using Theobald tools.
• Support SAP BW integration with Azure via Velocity and SAP Datasphere.
• Troubleshoot data loads and data-quality issues; perform root cause analysis and fix issues.
• Optimize SAP BW performance, data loads, and volumes.
• Provide L1.5, L2, and L3 production support for incidents and requests.
• Deliver enhancements, testing, releases, and deployments; document solutions.

As an SAP BW Developer, you will contribute to the stability and evolution of business-critical data solutions, partnering with technical teams to strengthen reporting, analytics, and connected enterprise data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models, including InfoProviders, DSOs, ADSOs, and CompositeProviders.

• Develop and maintain BW transformations, Data Transfer Processes (DTPs), and process chains.

• Configure and monitor data extraction from SAP ERP and SAP BW using Theobald tools.

• Support SAP BW integration with Azure through Velocity and SAP BDC Datasphere.

• Troubleshoot data loads, transformations, and data-quality issues; perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.

• Optimize SAP BW performance, data loads, and data volumes.

• Provide L1.5, L2, and L3 production support for incidents, problems, and service requests.

• Deliver enhancements and support testing, releases, and deployments.

• Document technical solutions, configurations, and support procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Mid-level experience in SAP BW development and production support.

• Hands-on experience with SAP BW modeling components, including InfoProviders, DSOs, ADSOs, and CompositeProviders.

• Strong practical experience with SAP BW transformations, DTPs, and process chains.

• Experience with ABAP/BW troubleshooting, performance analysis, and resolving SAP BW data-loading issues.

• Experience configuring and supporting Theobald extraction tools, along with solid SQL skills.

• Experience supporting SAP-to-Azure integration using Velocity and SAP Datasphere.

• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and support or operations teams to troubleshoot SAP BW issues, resolve data-loading problems, and deliver enhancements.

• Fluent, business-level English for technical communication, documentation, and collaboration with project teams in Dubai.

• Professional proficiency in Arabic for local team collaboration.

• Availability to work during hours that overlap with the Dubai-based project team in Gulf Standard Time.

• Experience coordinating with SAP ERP teams and reporting or analytics stakeholders to support data integration and downstream reporting requirements is a plus.
