Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in Oklahoma City seeks an SAP Business Manager to strengthen SAP capabilities within the Military Engines Global Depot Network. You will lead a small SAP team and drive short- and mid-term improvements as part of a broader digital transformation.

You will coordinate with Sustainment Operations and Military Engines programs to align SAP strategy, support the ECC to S/4HANA transition, and develop training/documentation. Domestic/international travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of aviation experience.
• At least 5 years of SAP experience with a minimum of 3 years in operations, maintenance or MIS.

You will be an integral part of Pratt & Whitney's Military Engines (ME) Sustainment Operational Excellence, Digital Transformation and Analytics (DT&A), SAP Solutions team. This team supports the aftermarket maintenance and overhaul of modules/engines for the F117, F119, and F135 programs across the Pratt & Whitney Global Depot Network (GDO) and is key to the future of the Military Engines organization, the continued success of P&W, and the national defense of the United States.

We are seeking an SAP Business Manager to enhance and expand the SAP functional capabilities within the Military Engines Global Depot Network organization. In this technical leadership role, you will manage a team of SAP professionals, develop short- and mid‑term tactical and operational SAP improvement plans, drive results, and oversee the execution of moderately complex projects. You will also serve as GDO's primary SAP point of contact for the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, leading activities related to requirements development, testing, training, and creation of user documentation.

What You Will Do:

• Lead and manage team of 2 to 5 SAP professionals; Helping team members develop professionally through coaching, training, and hands‑on leadership opportunities
• Partner across Sustainment Operations and various Military Engines programs to develop & align SAP strategy for digital transformation of Global Depot Network
• Work with Digital Technology (DT) and Depot Business leads to identify future SAP enhancements
• Provide SAP support and issue resolution for the Depot network
• Technical SAP Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) leader and SME
• Develop and deliver training and standard user guides for SAP
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to gather insights, refine requirements, and ensure alignment between SAP goals and team efforts.
• Hiring, firing, promotion and reward authority within own area, in accordance with manager review and approval.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience
• A minimum 10 years of aviation experience required
• At least 5 years of SAP experience required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, maintenance and digital technology or Management Information System (MIS) is required
• At least 5 years of managerial, supervisory and leadership experience required
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Having an Employment Authorization Document (EAD or Form I-766), commonly known as a work permit, will not meet the requirements of this position

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or MIS with minimum 7 years prior experience
• SAP SME experience in an aerospace or defense industry in an environment that has SAP and Solumina as a Shop Floor system.
• Understand the MRO Solumina/SAP system/functionality and how it is utilized in processes across the ME sites
• 10 years SAP MRO experience is preferred
• Certified as CORE Champion (RTX) or holds similar process improvement/lean certification
