RTX, a world-leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Business Support Services Manager for Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions in Muskegon, MI. You will lead the SAP landscape transformation, drive ERP improvements and coordinate DT-aligned initiatives within PWCS.

This onsite leadership role requires deep SAP expertise, strong program management and cross-functional collaboration across P&W and RTX teams to ensure seamless go-lives and ongoing system stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or Advanced Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ERP experience in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement or materials management.
• Experience developing/executing ERP testing strategies (functional/integration/regression/UAT).
• Demonstrated follow-through, accountability and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Lead PWCS transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA with SME engagement, process definition, requirements development and testing strategy.
• Drive global initiatives to enhance customer and employee experience; align DT and business priorities and lead automation efforts.
• Provide strategic leadership to BSS staff, including supervision, coaching and performance management.
• Oversee business-owned processes, set system usage standards, and identify cross-functional improvements.
• Serve as Local Security Coordinator for PWCS; oversee SAP access controls and annual eSOX reviews.
• Oversee system testing across ERP platforms (SAP, EDI, SPEC2000) including security and disaster recovery testing.
• Lead implementation and stabilization of SAP boundary system integrations (Supplier Portal, Ariba oneRTX, Esker, Documentum).
• Support PWCS FTZ deployment by providing SAP guidance to Thomson Reuters, contributing to testing, readiness, and go-live activities.

What You Will Do:

Join Pratt & Whitney Component Solutions (PWCS) in Muskegon, Michigan, as the Business Support Services Manager and play a critical role in the transformation of our business systems, processes, and digital capabilities. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of business operations, SAP, digital transformation, and continuous improvement. You will lead the PWCS transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, oversee critical ERP and boundary-system integrations, drive business process improvements, and serve as a strategic partner to business and Digital Technology (DT) leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the PWCS transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, directing SME engagement, process definition, requirements development, and testing strategy. Ensures business continuity, escalates critical risks, and partners with DT leadership to drive resolution and support legacy boundary systems.
• Drive key Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC) and RTX global initiatives that enhance customer and employee experience. Oversees demand scoping for SAP and digital projects, aligning DT and business priorities and leading automation efforts to strengthen PWCS operational efficiency.
• Provide strategic leadership to BSS staff, including direct supervision, coaching, performance management, and fostering collaboration across P&W employees and contractors.
• Oversee business-owned processes, set system usage standards, and identify cross-functional improvement opportunities.
• Serve as Local Security Coordinator for PWCS, overseeing EPM security administration and ensuring compliance with SAP access controls, including annual eSOX and sensitive/conflicting transaction reviews.
• Oversee system testing across ERP platforms (SAP, EDI, SPEC2000), including security, disaster recovery, and regression testing for changes impacting SAP integrations (OneSource, Ariba, B2B, APIs).
• Lead implementation and stabilization of SAP boundary system integrations (Supplier Collaboration Portal, Ariba oneRTX, Esker, Documentum), partnering with PWC DT to manage testing, troubleshooting, and user impact mitigation.
• Support PWCS FTZ (Free Trade Zone) deployment by providing SAP functional and landscape guidance to Thomson Reuters, contributing to testing, readiness, and go-live activities.
• Identify and drive process improvements across PWCS to enhance system performance, streamline operations, and support RTX strategic goals.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP ERP in a business, functional, or business systems capacity, including SAP ECC
• Experience supporting SAP-enabled manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, materials management, or related business processes in a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience developing or executing ERP system testing strategies, including functional, integration, regression, or user acceptance testing.
