Job summary

Tier4 Group in Wixom, MI is seeking an SAP FICO Business Analyst to configure, support, and optimize SAP FI/CO across the organization. This role emphasizes Controlling processes including cost center accounting, profit center accounting, product costing, and CO-PA, collaborating with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT to deliver scalable solutions.

The analyst will ensure integration between FI/CO and SD/MM, oversee testing, and develop functional specs while working with ABAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IS, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO configuration and support.
• Strong expertise in GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center, Product Costing, CO-PA.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of FI/CO integration with SD and MM.
• Experience supporting SAP implementations and production environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP FICO configuration, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
• Ensure integration between FI/CO and other SAP modules, including SD and MM.

• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers on enhancements and custom reports.
• Lead testing efforts and resolve complex production issues.
• Create documentation, deliver user training, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

Tier4 Group is seeking an SAP FICO Business Analyst responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions across the organization. This hands-on role requires strong expertise in SAP FICO, with a focus on Controlling processes including cost center accounting, profit center accounting, product costing, and CO-PA. The analyst partners with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT teams to deliver effective SAP solutions that support business objectives.
Location: Wixom, MI

3 days onsite (T, W, TH)/2 days remote(M/F)

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI/CO processes, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, and CO-PA.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO configuration and support experience.
• Strong expertise in General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of FI/CO integration with SD and MM.
• Experience supporting SAP implementations and production environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP FICO Certification.
• SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation experience.
• Experience with Central Finance (CFIN), SAP Fiori, electronic banking, or Vertex integrations.
• Manufacturing industry experience and familiarity with PP integration.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ABAP debugging.
