Senior SAP Business Analyst – PTM / PP/DS

This position is open to LOCAL Denver Metro candidates only.

Candidates must currently reside in the Denver, CO metro area and be able to work onsite in Golden, CO. Out-of-state candidates will not be considered.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Business Analyst – PTM / PP/DS to support and enhance SAP manufacturing, production planning, and detailed scheduling processes.

This role will serve as a key liaison between Information Systems, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business teams. You will help define business requirements, configure SAP solutions, lead testing activities, support implementations, train users, and ensure SAP planning and manufacturing processes operate effectively.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with SAP PP/DS and PTM, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP PTM and PP/DS, including production planning, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, master data, and manufacturing integration.
• Support end‑to‑end planning and execution processes, including demand fulfillment, supply planning, production scheduling, and manufacturing execution.
• Translate business requirements into functional SAP PP/DS and PTM solutions, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Support SAP data migration and master data governance activities.
• Partner with business and IT teams to identify requirements and develop effective SAP solutions.
• Create testing requirements and coordinate unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop and maintain documentation and procedures related to planning and production functionality.
• Support SAP implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables for SAP PTM and PP/DS initiatives.
• Train and support end users on SAP business processes and functionality.
• Serve as a liaison between IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business functions.
• Support integration between SAP planning, manufacturing, and execution systems.
• Ensure the integrity and security of corporate data, proprietary information, and intellectual property.
• Participate in business process improvement and re‑engineering initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of Business Analyst experience
• 4–7 years of SAP experience
• Hands‑on SAP PP/DS implementation and/or production support experience
• Experience with SAP PTM manufacturing planning processes
• Strong experience with:

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CIRM certification
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably Apriso
• Experience supporting large‑scale SAP implementations or transformation initiatives.

Salary Range: $100,000–$135,000 base salary
