Job summary

HCLTech Germany is seeking a SAP BASIS: dCEM professional to serve as the primary engagement manager for customers. This role is customer-facing and consultative, coordinating with backend TechOps and ensuring seamless service delivery.

German proficiency is required, and the position is not hands-on technical work. You will lead regular meetings, articulate landscape assessments, guide maintenance activities, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in SAP Basis.
• Minimum 2+ years of cloud knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA and HANA DB.
• Experience in Upgrades & Migrations (OS/DB).
• Experience with SaaS integrations such as Ariba, Salesforce, C4C preferred.
• Hands-on exposure to at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex engagements.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary engagement manager for the customer.
• Coordinate with backend TechOps and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Conduct regular customer meetings and present landscape updates.
• Provide guidance on planned/unplanned maintenance activities.
• Manage performance, SLAs, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Support staffing coordination and governance adherence.
• Formulate KRAs for team members aligned with goals.
• Oversee project budgets and onboarding of operations.
• Grow client relationships to support opportunities.
