Tampa Electric is seeking a SAP Basis Architect for progression to advanced levels. The role oversees systems administration for SAP ECC, Portal, CRM, BW, BOBJ/BODS, and more on ABAP, Java, and .NET, ensuring upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and extensive SAP landscape experience, with preferred SAP Solution Manager/HANA certifications. The position emphasizes leadership across projects and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent IT discipline.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent IT discipline (MIS).
SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP Solution Manager; SAP Certified - HANA; System Administration (preferred).
Minimum of twelve years of related work experience and architectural BASIS roadmap experience.
Experience with SAP ECC, CRM, ISU, BW, Solution Manager, HANA Cloud solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead SAP Basis administration tasks: installations, upgrades, patches, performance tuning, sizing.
Analyze system performance and implement tuning improvements.
Design multi-landscape solutions and architecture recommendations for SAP landscapes.
Oversee Portal landscape upgrades and patches.
Coordinate enhancements with SAP Functional Team Leads for ECC and CRM/ISU implementations.
Provide technical leadership across SAP projects and teams.
