Job summary

Sirius Staffing is hiring an SAP Basis Architect / SAP Basis Administrator in Tampa, FL. This position is fully on-site for a large utility company. You will serve as the primary resource for systems administration across all SAP landscapes, including ECC, Portal, CRM, BW, BOBJ/BODS, BPC, and Solution Manager on ABAP, Java, and .NET platforms.

Pay rate is $65.52/hr. Location is on-site, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. Department: Enterprise & Customer Platforms / SAP Center of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related IT discipline (MIS).
• Minimum of twelve years of experience aligned with the Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed.
• Experience defining and driving current/future state architectural BASIS roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• HANA Administration and Business Suite on HANA administration experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing fully integrated enterprise environments.
• Experience leading focus groups and aligning Business and IT organizations.
• Technical leadership experience on SAP landscape implementations, upgrades, or database migrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP Basis administration including installations, upgrades, software patching, support package application, performance tuning, problem resolution, and project sizing.
• Conduct system performance evaluations, system health checks, and implement tuning improvements.
• Participate in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations, and continuous improvement strategies.
• Design and implement Portal landscape upgrades and patches.
• Collaborate with SAP Functional Team Leads to ensure enhancements to SAP ECC and CRM/B (ISU) implementations.
• Provide technical leadership and participate in technical projects across multiple teams.
• Support leadership in creating and communicating SAP systems architecture aligned with business strategy.
• Maintain SAP technology standards, solution/design templates, governance processes, and compliance procedures.
• Ensure SAP infrastructure supports current business needs while enabling future scalability.
• Influence adoption of new technologies that improve consistency, efficiency, and agility.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong hands ‑ on implementation and support experience with SAP ECC, CRM, ISU, BW, and Solution Manager in SQL Server or SAP HANA environments across clustered on ‑ premise and/or cloud solutions.
• Deep knowledge of multi ‑ system landscape architecture and integration across heterogeneous technologies (global focus preferred).
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver administration in Windows environments, including installation, upgrades, support packages, patches, add ‑ on components, workload analysis, and more.
• Ability to support evolving SAP landscapes across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Ability to establish design, implementation, monitoring, and optimization processes across SAP landscapes and dependent technologies.
• Ability to work across organizations, vendors, and business units and conduct vendor/technology ‑ agnostic evaluations.
• Ability to develop application roadmaps for SAP products including Solution Manager and GRC.
• Deep knowledge of SAP sizing technologies and quick sizer, ensuring accurate business data inputs.
• Ability to translate business data into infrastructure requirements across multiple platforms and OS technologies, including cloud.
• Understanding of SAP and non ‑ SAP front ‑ end, mobile, external access, and security requirements—including load balancers, web dispatchers, and SAP gateways—and ability to design supporting infrastructure.
• Must be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship now and/or in the future.
