Job summary

Ulvior is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Lead to join our global IT team. You will manage ABAP and Java stack systems, oversee upgrades, and ensure reliability across on-premise and cloud environments.

The role requires deep SAP architecture knowledge, strong communication, and collaboration with DBAs, security, and project teams to deliver migration initiatives and ensure performance health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years of SAP Basis experience with ABAP and Java stack systems.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0, SAP SRM, SAP MDG, SAP GRC, SAP SCM, and Fiori.
• Strong understanding of SAP Cloud Architecture, HCI Middleware setup and SuccessFactors integration with on-premise SAP environments.
• Operating SAP systems on HANA/DB2/SQL Server/Oracle as the underlying databases.
• Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
• Demonstrate ability to work well within a team, collaborate with various people and organizations to develop win/win results.
• High level of proficiency and understanding of information technology and the linkage between business processes, people, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Work in a global distributed setting without supervision.
• Installation and administration of ABAP & Java based systems.
• Perform system upgrades, refreshes, client copies including day-to-day Basis activities.
• Support migration of SAP systems across Datacenters; Cloud migration in an IAAS setup.
• Monitoring of SAP systems and Performance Health Check-Up.
• Collaborate with Project and Support teams, plus DBA and Security groups.
• Support Transport management and change management processes.
• Experience with large-scale migrations and cloud migration projects is desired.

• More than 7 years of SAP Basis experience with both ABAP and Java stack systems
• Experience with the following is a must: SAP ECC 6.0, SAP SRM, SAP MDG, SAP GRC, SAP SCM, Fiori
• Good understanding of SAP Cloud Architecture, HCI Middleware setup and SuccessFactors integration with on-premise SAP environments.
• Operating SAP systems on HANA/DB2/SQL Server/Oracle as the underlying databases.

• Solution Manager 7.2
• Cloud solutions including SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, BTP, & C4C.
• At least one full life cycle implementation is desired
• Windows/Linux/AIX administration and management of SAP systems in a virtualization/Hyperscaler context is a big plus
