University of Nebraska System in Lincoln, NE is seeking an SAP application developer to design, implement, and maintain SAP solutions for the NeBIS Technical Support Team. You will work with functional colleagues to deliver enterprise enhancements and support ongoing operations, applying established development standards.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of relevant experience, with familiarity in SAP R/3 ABAP, SAPUI5, and Fiori.
This position is responsible for providing SAP application development for the University of Nebraska and Nebraska State College System and is part of the Nebraska Information System technical team. This position independently performs application development and maintenance activities of moderate complexity. This position applies established development standards to support enterprise systems and collaborates with functional team members to deliver application enhancements.
The NeBIS office and their staff are located in Lincoln, NE.

Bachelor’s Degree
1 year of relevant application development experience
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise or business systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audience
Equivalent combination of education, experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Experience with SAP R/3 development tools, ABAP programming, and SAP diagnostic tools
Experience with SAPUI5 and Fiori
Experience in Higher Ed or the Public Sector
