Job summary

TECHEAD is seeking an IT – Configuration Engineer (SAP) for a contract role in Huntersville, NC. This position requires hands-on SAP ABAP development, EDI integration, and strong knowledge of SAP SD and MM modules. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and support SAP ABAP/EDI solutions, manage IDoc interfaces, and ensure seamless interactions with trading partners.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP development in SAP ECC environment.
• Experience with SD & MM in SAP modules and EDI mapping.
• Experience onboarding EDI customers and interfacing EDI with SAP IDocs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and modify SAP ABAP programs including enhancements, conversions, User Exits, ALV reports, LSMW, RF Cs, ALE/EDI, IDocs, BAPIs, and BADIs.
• Develop SAPscript and Smart Forms.
• Debug and resolve SAP/EDI issues and errors.
• Coordinate EDI data exchanges with vendors and trading partners.
• Support inbound/outbound IDoc programs and monitor SAP/EDI interfaces.
• Provide guidance and collaborate with business and IT teams on SAP/EDI initiatives.
• Contribute to Order-to-Cash processes within SAP.
