Job summary

BBG Ventures, LLC seeks an experienced IT Configuration Engineer for a contract role in Huntersville, NC. The position offers a hybrid work model with remote Mondays and Fridays, and in-office Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8 am to 5 pm.

You will join the SAP team to develop ABAP programs, implement EDI integrations, and map IDOC structures to support ERP processes and external trading partners.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAP ABAP development with SD and MM modules.
• Experience onboarding EDI customers and mapping to IDOC structures.
• Knowledge of SAP interfacing with EDI transactions.
• Familiarity with order-to-cash processes in SAP.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or higher and at least one full cycle.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop and modify SAP ABAP programs including enhancements, conversions, IDOCs, BAPI, and BADI.
• Develop and modify SAP script and Smart Forms.
• Debug system issues and provide quick resolutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and trading partners for EDI data exchanges.
• Monitor IDOC programs and troubleshoot errors.
• First responder on SAP and EDI tickets with SAP Lead.
• Collaborate with business and IT to align with strategic plans.
• Gain functional experience in order-to-cash.
