Job summary

HireTalent is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support EDI/IDOC integrations within a SAP ECC environment in the United States. The role requires hands-on ABAP development, troubleshooting of IDOC mappings, and collaboration with trading partners to onboard new interfaces.

You will implement enhancements across ECC (BAPIs, ALV reports, Smart Forms), provide production support, and contribute to SAP implementations and testing.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience in SAP ECC 6.0 or higher.
• Strong SAP SD/MM development experience with ALE/EDI and IDOCs.
• Experience with EDI transactions 850, 855, 846, 856, and 810.
• At least one full-cycle SAP ECC implementation and solid Order-to-Cash knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and business collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP ABAP solutions across ECC, including User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, ALV Reports, RFCs, and Smart Forms.
• Support inbound/outbound EDI transactions and troubleshoot IDOC and mapping errors.
• Partner with EDI providers, vendors, and trading partners to onboard new integrations.
• Provide production support and contribute to SAP implementations, testing, and improvements.
