Job summary

MNC is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with hands-on SAP CPI / SAP Cloud Integration experience to develop, enhance, and support SAP applications and integrations. You will bring strong ABAP expertise and practical experience integrating SAP S/4HANA/ECC with SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP CPI.

Responsibilities include developing ABAP programs, RICEF components, and CPI integration flows, working with CPI adapters, and ensuring robust data transformation and secure connectivity.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience with ABAP and ALV reports.
• Familiarity with ABAP on HANA/S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of IDoc development and processing.
• Experience with RFC and web services (SOAP/REST/OData).
• Hands-on SAP CPI / SAP Cloud Integration and iFlows.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP.
• Design and implement interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows (RICEF).
• Develop and maintain custom reports and function modules; work with BAPIs and BADIs.
• Build and consume RFC, SOAP, REST and OData services; work with IDocs and interface development.
• Design integrations between SAP and external/non-SAP apps using CPI/SAP Cloud Integration; create iFlows.
• Configure adapters (HTTP, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDoc, RFC, AS2, JDBC) and map data.
• Transform data between XML, JSON, CSV; ensure security (OAuth, certificates).
• Troubleshoot, monitor CPI integrations, and support production issues.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with hands-on SAP CPI / SAP Cloud Integration experience to develop, enhance, and support SAP applications and integrations. The candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP development and practical experience integrating SAP S/4HANA/ECC with SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP CPI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP.
• Work on Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflows (RICEF).
• Develop and maintain Custom Reports, ALV Reports, Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits and Enhancements.
• Develop and consume RFC, SOAP, REST and OData services.
• Work extensively with IDocs and interface development.
• Develop ABAP programs for SAP ECC/S/4HANA environments.
• Design and develop integrations between SAP and external/non-SAP applications using SAP CPI / SAP Cloud Integration.
• Create, configure, test, deploy and monitor CPI Integration Flows (iFlows).
• Work with CPI adapters such as HTTP, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDoc, RFC, AS2 and JDBC, as applicable.
• Configure message mappings, value mappings, content modifiers, routers, filters, splitters, exception subprocesses and other integration components.
• Develop mappings using Message Mapping, XSLT and Groovy scripting.-
• Handle data transformation between XML, JSON, CSV and other formats.
• Configure authentication and connectivity between SAP and external systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures and ABAP-related issues.
• Monitor interfaces and analyze CPI message-processing logs.
• Work with functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing and deployment activities.
• Prepare technical specifications, integration documentation and unit-test cases.
• Support production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Follow SAP development standards and best practices.

Mandatory Technical Skills

SAP ABAP:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development.

• Strong experience in designing and developing iFlows.
• Experience with SAP-to-SAP and SAP-to-non-SAP integrations.
• Experience with HTTP, REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP and IDoc adapters.
• Good knowledge of Message Mapping and XSLT.
• Hands-on experience with Groovy scripting.
• Experience in data transformation using XML/JSON/CSV.
• Knowledge of exception handling, retry mechanisms and error handling.
• Experience with CPI monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of security and authentication mechanisms such as Basic Authentication, OAuth and certificates.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite is an advantage.
