Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a motivated SAP BTP – IS /CPI Consultant with a passion for the manufacturing industry. You will assist in SAP BTP‑CPI implementation tasks and collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver and support SAP CPI solutions.

You will configure, implement, and maintain the SAP BTP‑CPI module, develop interfaces, and ensure end-to-end integration across cloud and on‑premise environments. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing SAP CPI iFlows.
• Hands-on configuration with SAP CPI iFlows and APIM.
• Proactively identify improvements; liaison between client business and the technical team; mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and maintain the SAP BTP-CPI module.
• Develop inbound/outbound interfaces between cloud and on-premise/cloud SAP products.
• Define custom iFlows and exception sub-processes.
• Handle various adapters (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, REST) to exchange messages.
• Develop value mapping and Groovy usage in iFlow.
• Handle data conversions (JSON to XML, CSV to XML).
• Work with CPI pallet options and security artifacts.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP CPI applications.
• Testing: create test data, run tests, and create test scripts.
• Monitor performance and suggest improvements.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in designing, development, and implementation of integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI
• Hands‑on functional configuration and design experience with SAP CPI iFlows, APIM
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements. Act as a liaison between the client business functions and the technical team. Mentor and guide junior team members. Strong client handling and communication.
• Ability to provide solutions to Business Users based on the issue
• Knowledge on interfaces, cross module knowledge
• Greenfield implementation project (end‑to‑end implementation) is preferable.

As an SAP BTP‑CPI Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting in various projects related to SAP BTP‑CPI implementation tasks. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to implement & support SAP BTP‑CPI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation: Configuring, implementing, and maintaining the SAP BTP‑CPI module
• Experience in developing inbound and outbound interfaces to/from the cloud to on‑premise and cloud instances of SAP products
• Experience in configuration and extension of standard iFlows
• Experience in defining custom iFlows, local & exception sub‑processes, exception handling
• Expertise in handling various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiver
• Knowledge of developing value mapping and Groovy and using it in iFlow
• Experience in handling different data conversions like JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.
• Experience in using various CPI pallet options (integration patterns – message transformations, enricher, splitter, etc.) and experience in SAP BTP experience in handling security artifacts, encryption, and decryption mechanisms and SSH keys
• Experience with EDI integrations, API management
• Design interfaces and integration flows, and develop solutions to meet business needs
• Experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP HANA Cloud Integration, and SAP Process Orchestration
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed using SAP CPI
• Testing: Creating test data, running tests, and creating and executing test scripts
• Continuous improvement: Monitoring system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending enhancements

Base Salary Range

$120,000 to $150,000 per annum
