Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a SAP ABAP Developer in the Dearborn, MI area for a contractual role, offering pay between $70 and $75 per hour (W2). You will work on enterprise SAP Platform API Enablement, Interfaces, Enhancements, and Integration Services in a large-scale S/4HANA environment.

Responsibilities include ABAP development, RICEFW, CDS views, API integration, and collaboration with global teams. Familiarity with SAPScript/Smart Forms and output management is expected; local compliance and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Functional knowledge of FI, SD, Purchasing, and Ariba modules.
• Exposure to RAP, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud, and API Management platforms such as Apigee.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support SAP solutions using ABAP 7.4+, OOPs ABAP, OData Services, and S/4HANA
• Design and build RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
• Develop CDS Views, AMDP classes, and API integration
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using REST, SOAP, OData, RFC, IDocs, XML, and JSON
• Configure and enhance S/4HANA Flexible Workflows
• Work with SAPScript, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and Output Management
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, vendors, and global development teams
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and production support
