Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA experience, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.

You will develop scalable, upgrade-stable custom solutions, leverage modern SAP frameworks, and deliver Fiori-backed backend development with ABAP in Eclipse, BAPIs, IDOCs and CDS views. Collaborate with functional teams and ensure performance optimization.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP ABAP experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with full-cycle S/4HANA implementations and cloud-ready solutions.
• Strong knowledge of extensibility concepts and Fiori-integrated backend development.

Responsibilities

SAP ABAP Consultant – SAP ECC & S/4HANA

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 8–10 years of experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments, including at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation. The candidate should have strong expertise in developing scalable, cloud-ready, and upgrade-stable custom solutions within SAP S/4HANA, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of modern SAP development frameworks, SAP extensibility concepts, and SAP Fiori-integrated backend development.

Technical Skills

Core ABAP Expertise

• Strong proficiency in ABAP and OO ABAP development
• Extensive experience with:
  • BADIs, BAPIs
  • ALE, RFC Calls
  • IDOCs
  • Classes & Methods (OO ABAP)
  • Adobe Forms, Smartforms, SAP Scripts
