Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bellevue, WA is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, build, and support ABAP solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA with focus on Supply Chain processes. You will analyze requirements, translate them into scalable technical designs, and deliver high‑quality developments.

You will collaborate with functional teams, participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support while mentoring junior ABAP developers in a dynamic, hybrid work

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with ABAP development for SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Hands-on with ABAP Objects, Classes, Interfaces, and Methods.
• Experience delivering scalable solutions for Supply Chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop ABAP reports and executable programs.
• Work with ABAP Objects, Classes, Interfaces, and Methods.
• Implement Function Modules and RFCs.
• Utilize BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
• Ensure data extraction and integration programs run reliably.
• Troubleshoot production issues and performance problems.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate Supply Chain requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to ABAP developers.

SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and Supply Chain solutions. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of both traditional and modern SAP development and be able to independently analyze requirements, design technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver high-quality developments.

• Analyze existing custom ABAP developments and identify opportunities for simplification and modernization.
• Work with functional and business teams to translate Supply Chain requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, SIT/UAT, deployment, and production support.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other ABAP developers.
