Job summary

Trebecon LLC is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join onsite in Dallas, TX. You will develop and maintain custom ABAP solutions, translate business requirements into technical specs, and extend RICEF components across FI/CO/MM/SD/PP modules.

You will work with ABAP Objects, ALV, BAPI, BADI, and IDoc integrations while ensuring quality through testing and documentation. The role calls for strong debugging, performance tuning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects and OO programming.
• Experience with RICEF development and SAP integrations.
• Experience with Smart Forms and/or Adobe Forms.
• Strong SQL/Open SQL and SAP Data Dictionary knowledge.
• Experience in SAP transport processes.

• Develop and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF).
• Work with ABAP Objects, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
• Develop and support RFC, IDoc, and web service-based integrations.
• Work with SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, or other functional areas.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain SAP Forms, including Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
• Work with Open SQL, internal tables, function modules, reports, and data dictionary objects.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
• Provide production support and resolve technical issues within defined SLAs.
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-transfer activities.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and other technical teams.

• Strong knowledge of SQL/Open SQL and SAP Data Dictionary.
• Experience in SAP integration and interface development.
• Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills.
• Good understanding of SAP development and transport processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of ABAP on HANA.
• Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Experience with SAP APIs and modern integration technologies.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
