Lifetime Activities’ Santa Clara Tennis Center in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a part-time coach to teach technique to beginners and advanced players of all ages. The role emphasizes a positive, engaging style and teamwork.

You will lead groups, demonstrate fundamentals, adapt drills to skill levels (4.0+ NTRP preferred), and maintain punctual, professional conduct. A passion for tennis and helping others learn are essential, with flexible weekends.

Part Time Santa Clara Tennis Center, Santa Clara, CA, US

Salary Range: $25.10 To $42.00 Hourly

Description:

Share your skills and help us create the next generation of tennis players! The ideal candidate possesses the ability to teach and demonstrate technique to both beginning and advanced level players of all ages. Must have an engaging personality and enjoy interacting with kids and adults. A positive and team focused attitude is essential. Previous coaching experience is required.

• Patience when dealing with students that are new to the sport
• A good understanding of classic and modern tennis fundamentals
• A wide range of games and drills to get students moving and having fun
• A strong work-ethic that includes being punctual and professional at all times

NOTE: This position is required by law to submit to a consumer investigative report. Applicants are also subject to a TB screening, following a conditional offer of employment.

Schedule:

Saturdays and Sundays 10:30am-1pm; and 2:40pm -7:10pm

Occasionally help with weekday P&R group lessons 4:30pm-9:30pm.

**Schedule and number of hours assigned are subject to change according to the needs of the business and can vary seasonally or session by session.**

Pay Range:

$25.10 - $42 / hour

Monday - Friday:

8am - 10pm

Saturday & Sunday:

8am - 8pm
