Job summary

Southmill Champs is seeking a sanitation employee for our West Sacramento DC to maintain clean and orderly facilities. Under the DC Manager, you will perform manual labor and various duties related to sanitation in the assigned area.

The role requires adherence to GMP, completion of in-house chemical training, and the ability to work in wet, cold, or hot environments. Weekend and overtime availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all tasks.
• Must complete in-house chemical training.
• Physical ability to stand, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and reach.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Follow safety precautions and procedures.

Position Summary:

The sanitation employee, under direction of the DC Manager, is to keep assigned areas of the facility clean and orderly; and to perform related duties as required. To perform manual labor and a variety of duties relative to assigned area of responsibility.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Must be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of the equipment and work areas. Must comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices
• Must complete in-house chemical training and must be able to work in wet, cold or hot environments.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed. Must be able to follow safety precautions and procedures.
• Must have basic knowledge of how to handle and operate cleaning equipment, process equipment, and chemical equipment. Must be able to perform physical work such as standing, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• To adhere to all company policies and to act as a role model in the adherence to company policies.

Preferred Skills:

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of the equipment and work area.
• Must be able to read and follow areas of assigned duties on the Master Cleaning Schedule.
