Job summary

Valley Fine Foods Co LLC in Yuba City, CA is seeking a Safety-focused Sanitation Technician to support food manufacturing operations. The role focuses on sanitation of food-contact equipment, utensils, and production environments in compliance with SQF, FSMA, USDA, Organic, and FDA requirements.

This is an overnight position with hours 10:00 PM–6:30 AM. Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, applying approved chemicals, preventing cross-contact, maintaining records, and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Food Manufacturing Sanitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food-contact equipment per SSOPs.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment properly.
• Apply chemicals at approved concentrations and contact times.
• Prevent cross-contamination and allergen cross-contact.
• Execute allergen sanitation controls.
• Verify allergen residue removal.
• Verify equipment remains locked out.
• Handle chemicals per SDS.
• Complete sanitation, chemical, and LOTO records.

This position is critical to preventing food safety hazards by ensuring effective sanitation of food-contact equipment, utensils, and production environments in compliance with SQF Code, FSMA Preventive Controls, USDA, Organic, and FDA requirements.

This is an overnight position with working hours of 10:00PM-6:30 Am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Food-Contact Equipment Sanitation

• Clean and sanitize food-contact equipment per SSOPs.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment properly.
• Apply chemicals at approved concentrations and contact times.
• Prevent cross-contamination and allergen cross-contact.
• Execute allergen sanitation controls.
• Verify allergen residue removal.

Lockout/Tagout & Safety

• Verify equipmentremainslocked out.

Chemical Safety

• Handle chemicals per SDS.

Documentation

• Complete sanitation, chemical, and LOTO records.
