Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Associate to perform daily cleaning of processing equipment including RMC, cooker, and related parts in a high-volume dairy facility.

You will follow USDA, GMP and safety regulations, maintain accurate records, and work safely in a noisy, caustic environment. Forklift certification and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required or anticipated.

Qualifications

SUMMARY

Sanitation is vital to efficient and high-quality production. This position involves daily cleaning of RMC's, cooker and cooker parts, fines savers, DMM and any other equipment or parts that may need cleaning. Always adheres to all USDA, GMP and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
• Must understand chemicals and chemical safety
• Must be able to check chemical concentrations.
• Must know how to stop and start all equipment that will be cleaned.
• Must know how to disassemble and reassemble all equipment that will be cleaned.
• Must work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures including use of safety equipment.
• Must be Forklift Certified

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous sanitation and machine operator experience.Possess basic math and communication skills.
