Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center, part of HCA Midwest Health, is seeking a PRN Sanitation Worker in Food and Nutrition Services to support storeroom operations and patient meal services at Independence, MO. You will store and stock food and supplies, keep the storeroom clean and orderly, and assist with tray lines and timely meal delivery to nursing areas.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and must obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper storage of food and non-food received.
• Maintain the storage area in a clean and orderly manner according to regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels.
• Stock the cafeteria and service areas with required service ware and food items.
• Assist with monthly inventory, daily orders, and maintaining all kitchen utensils, equipment and surfaces in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Assist with tray line, delivery of food and late tray carts to nursing areas daily.
