US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Custodian in Seabrook, NH to clean and maintain the division building and related facilities. The role involves operating cleaning equipment, pulling pallets, and documenting schedules. Schedule: Sun-Thu 5:00PM-1:30AM; pay: $23.47/hour.

Responsibilities include ensuring cleanliness, handling spills, performing light maintenance, and preparing reports on cleaning activities. Prior custodial experience and a HS diploma or GED are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Education/Training: High School education or GED preferred.
• Related Experience: Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to read and write legibly; able to follow orders; basic mathematical skills; able to work with little direct supervision. Experience with warehouse equipment including reach trucks, pallet jacks, floor scrubber, bailer, hydraulic trash compactor.

• Pulls pallets and cleans/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis.
• Cleans spills or breakages; recoups damages and determines resale or disposal per government and US Foods safety requirements.
• Performs light maintenance duties (bulb replacement, recyclable collection, etc.).
• Prepares reports documenting cleaning schedule, spillages, product damage, etc.; may track maintenance supplies.
• May clean other warehouse areas and offices including break rooms, rest rooms, test kitchens, offices.
• Maintain facility grounds and dumpster areas.
• Operates scrubber, pallet jack and high lift if required.

Schedule: Sunday- Thursday 5:00PM - 1:30AM

PAY: $23.47 / hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sweeps and cleans entire warehouse to maintain required level of cleanliness.
• Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable.
• Pulls pallets and cleans/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis.
• Cleans up any spills or breakages to inventoried product; recoups damages and determines if resalable or must be disposed of per government and U.S. Foodservice food safety requirements.
• Performs light maintenance duties as assigned (i.e. replacement of light bulbs, collecting recyclable materials, paper and shrink wrap collection pickup, checking freezer and cooler for leaks or ice build up, etc.).
• Prepares various reports and forms to document cleaning schedule, spillages, product damage, etc. May track and order maintenance supplies.
• May clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, to include break rooms, rest rooms, test kitchens, offices, etc.
• Maintain facility grounds and dumpster areas.
• Operates scrubber, pallet jack and high lift if required to perform duties.

• Internal: Warehouse associates, Warehouse Manager.
• External: Vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education/Training: High School education or GED preferred.
• Related Experience: Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to read and write legibly; able to follow orders; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); able to work with little direct supervision. Experience in operation of warehouse equipment to include: reach trucks, pallet jacks, sweeper, floor scrubber, bailer, hydraulic trash compactor.

Compensation

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $23.47 and $24.46. This role may also receive overtime compensation and shift differential where applicable.
