Summary

As a Sanitation Worker, you will ensure Food Safety and Product Quality by cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment, utensils, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleaning and sanitation per the Master Sanitation Program
• Use chemicals and cleaning agents safely to clean processing areas and equipment
• Properly handle refuse and sanitation tools
• Remove debris from processing areas
• Communicate chemical supply needs to management
• Monitor and record facility conditions to meet company and regulatory standards
• Verify cleaning and sanitation effectiveness and complete relevant documentation
• Document responses to unsatisfactory conditions
• Perform testing as applicable
• Ensure plant safety and proper equipment use
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Support other duties as needed
• Become certified as an electric pallet jack and forklift operator
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

Required: None

Preferred: Experience with sanitation tools and chemicals, food safety, and operation of forklifts and pallet jacks
