Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience as a hygiene assistant or dental assistant required
• Must hold Radiology Certification within the state of AZ
• Experience with Dentrix and Microsoft Office preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Team player

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Compliance with HIPAA regulations and safeguarding PHI

More about the role

• Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment
• Review patient health history for quality care
• Assist hygienists during procedures in accordance with state dental practice act
• Set up and restock treatment rooms, utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
• Collaborate with team to follow office systems and maximize workflow

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
• Prolonged sitting and standing
• Lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Availability for periodic training sessions
• TB test required prior to employment (excluding FL & TN)
